創造公園渋谷 Art Re-Public Tokyo 2010 年 5 月 4 日(火・祝) 13:00-16:00 @渋谷公園通り in フラワーフェスティバル ~ 渋谷・公園通りが 1 日限りの野外アートスペースに ~
「アートを(閉鎖的な存在ではなく)パブリックなものに戻そう」をコンセプトに結成された文化創造プロジェ クトチーム「Art Re-public Tokyo」 (プロデューサー:河野友作)が、この度初となるパブリック・アートイベ ント「創造公園渋谷」を渋谷公園通商店街振興組合(理事長:小松原一雄)主催フラワーフェスティバルの一環と して、来る 5 月 4 日(火・祝日)に開催致します。
当日は、マルイシティ渋谷前からタワーレコード渋谷店間の全長 110 メートル、幅 27 メートルの公園通り(車道 域)にて、様々な参加アーティストによる平面・立体等の作品展示と、アートディレクター水谷孝次氏による上 海万博との連動企画「MerryUmbrella Project 上海万博×東京・渋谷」のパフォーマンスや、映像監督である丹 下紘希氏による「空想釣人」、アーティスト Toastie による「時報オペラ」のパフォーマンス・ライブ等、映像・ 音楽・パフォーマンス等のプレゼンテーションも予定しております。

河野友作 (A.R.T)
マーケティングプランナー:イングランド、デンマークに滞在し MBA を取得。 海外経験で培った幅広い知識と語学力、そし て物事を明確に判断する才能を用い、さまざまなクライアントに対して常にベストなマーケティング戦略を提供している。 右脳左脳のバランスを絶妙にとり、 ロジカルかつクリエイティブな戦略構築はグローバル企業からも高い評価を得ている。 現在は外資系総合広告代理店オグルヴィワールドワイドに籍を置きながらも、「ART」「タイコクラブ」などパブリックに発 信するアートやデザイン、音楽について精力的に取り組んでいる。

西村大助,津留崎麻子(サムワンズガーデン)
西村大助:東京大学大学院にて生物物理学を専攻。アーティストビザを取得し、渡米。カルチャー誌「TOKION」のウェブ担 当/ 編集者を勤める。2003 年帰国、日本版「TOK ION」に編集責任として 3 年間携わり、2007 年 2 月、フリーマガジン「Someone's Garden」を創刊。編集長/ アートディレクターを兼ねる。財団法人東京都歴史文化財団 トーキョーワンダーサイトではアド バイザーとして多くの若手アーティストの発掘と公開活動の支援を行っている。
津留崎麻子:日本大学芸術学部映画学科卒業、早稲田大学大学院文学研究科演劇映像中退。在学中より映画配給会社に在籍。 EURO SPACE、東京国立近代美術館フィルムセンター、SPIRAL、UPLINK などで配給・広報を担当し、フィルムを中心としたア ーティストを紹介する活動に携わる。SOMEONE'S GARDEN では「Flower by you」(KENZO PARFUMS)のタイアップ企画や「Pulse of life」(NIKE)など、プロジェクト企画運営を担当している。サムワンズガーデンとして、西村とともに全プロジェクト に関わる。
サムワンズガーデンとして、2010 年 1 月には日本で初となる世界のアーティストレジデンスを取材した「世界のアーティス ト・イン・レジデンスから」の出版や、またフランス大使館主催のアートイベント「No Man's Land」(2010 年 1-2 月)に携 わり総勢30名を超えるアーティストの作品公開を支援。 URL: www.someonesgarden.org

丹下紘希 (イエローブレイン)
イエローブレイン代表。東京造形大学卒。文化庁在外派遣芸術家として NY に滞在し作品制作を行う。帰国後イエローブレイ ンを設立し、手掛けた映像作品は数知れず、数多くのアワードを受賞。Mr.Children、桑田圭祐などの音楽作品に映像作品を 提供し、プロモーションビデオではなく作品としてのミュージックビデオというジャンルを確立した。昨年には映像業界で は初の試みとなる自身の作品集 DVD を発売。その一方障害者の社会復帰支援プロジェクト「アタリマエプロジェクト」を立 ち上げ福祉活動も活発に行っている。 URL: http://www.yellow-brain.com/
ランドスケープデザイン・ディレクター:
大江和範 (エッジ)
EDGE Inc.代表。独学で空間デザインを学び、1994 年に、EDGE Inc 設立。ランドスケープデザインから、ミュージアム、シ ョップ、福祉施設、住宅のデザイン等、多岐に渡る様々な空間デザインを展開している傍ら、オブジェ制作等も手掛ける。 「あらゆる社会的事象に触発され、多才な仲間達との繋がりを通してインスパイアされた感覚を自身の言語に置き換え、方 程式にはとらわれない感性で具現化する。また、コラボレーションから自然発生する化学反応を楽しみながらデザインとい うキーワードに対して向き合っている」 URL: www.edgeinc.jp

～ART hijacks town, Shibuya Park Street～
A special project team for creating cultural environments, "Art Re-public Tokyo (A.R.T)" (Producer:Yusaku Kono) launches the first ever art event in Shibuya
by collaborating with "Shibuya park street economical association" (President : Kazuo Komatsubara) on national holiday of, 4th May.
The event will be held in the most of busiest street, Park Street, in Shibuya, 110m length by 27 width, between Marui City Shibuya and Tower Record Shibuya.
Special events are planed for the day.
"Merry Umbrella Project Shanghai Expo x Tokyo Shibuya" by Koji Mizutani, which will be linked with Shanghai Expo performance art at the same time.
"Fancy fishermen" by Koki Tange, a film director, Opera of time tone by Toastie, more performance, live and film and installation art.

■What is "Art Re-Public Tokyo (A.R.T)"?
A special project team for creating culture with the concept of "return (republic) art into public hands", established Feb 2010.
Several individual experts, specialists, creators and organizations put hands up for the theme and gathered into one team beyond any backgrounds.
The team is chasing the idea of "what we can do for "the next Japanese generation", A.R.T develops creative projects for cultural activities with global view points

Yusaku Kono (A.R.T)
Marketing planner：Graduated Master of Business Administration in England and Denmark. He's been providing marketing strategies since returned to Japan
with utilizing his global experience, wide range of knowledge and language skill. Also he has the capability of both logical thinking and creative skill, which is wisely balancing "right" and "left brain".
His works have had great reputation from multi-national clients.
He now works a global advertising agency, Ogilvy Worldwide as a strategic planner and also puts his personal efforts in expressing skills in art, design and music
such as "A.R.T" and "taicoclub"
●Program Director：
Daisuke Nishimura, Asako Tsurusaki (Someone's garden)
Daisuke Nishimura：Specialised PhD in biophysics at Tokyo University. Left for NY when he acquired artist visa during the PhD student
Worked for cutural magazine "TOKION" as web designer/editor in NY and returned to Japan to start up "TOKION Japan" in 2003.
He started up own art magazine "Someone's Garden" in 2007. He became an art advisor for Tokyo wonder site, which was established by
the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and has been supporting young artists to express their creative works.
Asako Tsurusaki：Graduated Japan University of art & film and studied MA in film & performance art @ Waseda University. She started working at a film distributor during the time,
She established her expertise in PR and media communication at EURO SPACE,
EURO SPACE, National Film Center: The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, SPIRAL, UPLINK and involved in introducing film artists. She started associating with Daisuke and
produced all projects such as tie-up promotion with 「Flower by you」（KENZO PARFUMS） and 「Pulse of life」（NIKE）.
Someone's garden has published the first ever journalistic book in Japan, "Artists in residence" in 2010, which was led 300+ artists interviews around the world. Also, they supported
the French embassy's art event "No Man's Land" (Jan-Feb, 2010) and succeeded to attract 80,000 audiences for the event

Koki Tange (Yellow Brain)
President of Yellow Brain, graduated from Tokyo University of Art and Design. He stayed and created his own artworks in NY as an artist supported by Cultural Affairs Agency.
After returning to Japan, he established Yellow Brain and created many film works. He could succeed to develop the category of "music video" but not "promotion video".
He collaborates with Mr. Children, Keisuke Kuwata (Southern All Stars) and achieved many art awards. DVD of "Koki Tange ; Art film collection" was released last year, which
became innovative and pioneering activity in the film industry. Also he established "Atarimae project" which support handicapped people for rehabilitation into society.

●Landscape Director：
Kazunori Ooe (Edge inc)
President of EDGE Inc. Studied space design by himself and established the company in 1994. His expertise is varried in designing landscape, museum, shops, public institutions
and personal houses. Visualizing his senses, inspired by "influenced by social happenings and multi-talented friends". Furthermore, he is proactively collaborating with other creators / experts
which bring enjoyable chemical reaction between people in design.
