NY出身のアーティストリッキー・カッソが、エッジィなハイエンドセレクトショップ「リステア」(東京都港区赤坂9丁目7−4 ガレリア1F)にて、Newブランド「 Rikki Kasso Signature Collection」を発表。"ファッションは、アートへの入り口"という考えにより、アートとファッションを融合させたラグジュアリーなコレクションを揃えました。今回のテーマは、水墨画の世界。シルクのような肌触りを持つ上質な100%オーガニックコットン素材モダールをキャンパスとして捉え、そこにリッキー・カッソの描いた繊細かつシュールなアートワークとして水墨画を施しています。まるで和紙を彷彿させるオフホワイトの生地に展開された水墨画は見る人の目を不思議な世界に誘います。会場内では、原画となるリッキー・カッソのアート作品の展示や、映像によるインスタレーションを行います。アート、ファッション、映像など・・・マルチな分野で才能を発揮するリッキー・カッソの世界観を心行くまでご堪能ください。なお、展示されているアート作品は、すべて購入可能です。また、彼自身2冊目となる新作写真集「TOKYO」(Power Shovel Booksより出版)を発表し店頭にて販売もいたします。ジャパンファッションウィークのメイン会場となるミッドタウンにて新しいコレクションの発表を行うことによ

1979年、NYのブルックリン生まれ。 2008年度英国エロティック・アワードにて、フォトグラファー部門ゴールド・メダルを受賞。受賞作のフォトブログ「Tokyo Undressed」は、月に3万人以上が訪れる。最新のプロジェクトは、2009年秋に完成した"The Future Starts Now"という建築作品。目白幼稚園とコラボレートし、JR目白駅前にある新園舎の外壁に、30m×20mの巨大なパプリック・アートを手がけた。同作品は、山手線の車内からもからみることができる。ファッションラインは、リンジー・ローハン主演のディズニー配給映画、Vogue、HarpersBazzar、I-D、Dased and Confused、GQなど、これまで各種メディアにて取り上げられる。今までコラボレーションしたブランドは NIKE、uslu airlines、United Bambooなど多数。写真、ペインティング、映像、ファッション、建築に至るまで、多分野において幅広く活動していて、彼のアート作品は、マイケルジャクソンやブラッドピットなど、セレブリティのプライベートコレクションとして所蔵されていて、世界中の多くのアートコレクターたちから注目を集めている。

Rikki Kasso, Tokyo based award winning contemporary artist, known widely for his multitude of talents and vision through an array of artistic mediums. His latest work, a 20 x 30 meter permanent public art / architecture landmark piece "The Future Starts Now" in Tokyo`s Ivy league district, Mejiro; the work can be seen by over 500,000 people daily on the Yamanote line.

His infamous photo blog TOKYO UNDRESSED has amassed millions of fans and followers throughout the world with its intimate look at the subtleties of beauty and sexuality of life in Tokyo. He was awarded Photographer of the year 2008-2009 at the Erotic awards in the UK, for his collection of photos on his blog and his fist edition of the self published "Tokyo Undressed" Vol.0 photo book.

Currently in release of his 2nd book simply titled TOKYO with Japanese art publisher Powershovel Books, (which releases the works of famed Japanese photographer Moriyama Daido.)
